You can still visit and see these areas today, which include the fan palm oases of palm, as well as the two canyons Andres and Murray. Some of the great museums that you can visit that will give you fabulous insight to the past include: Palm Springs Desert Museum – This is a museum that specializes in the arts and natural sciences. There are various exhibits that show off a variety of different sculptures, gardens and galleries that are linked to the beauty and magnificence of the land. Village Green Heritage Center – This is a center that contains 4 different museums which honor the pioneers of the past. These museums include Miss Cornelia White’s House, McCallum Adobe, Agua Caliente Culture Museum and Ruddy’s General Store Museum. Each museum is filled with its own exhibits that have artifacts and pictures that are windows to Palm Springs lovely past. Palm Springs Air Museum – This is a museum that is for anyone who finds artifacts from World War II fascinating. Here you will discover a number of exhibits that show a collection of WWII aircrafts, in all of their glory. Besides museums, Palm Springs is also recognized for its wonderful art. You can experience over 100 different art galleries in the city, and many of these galleries are known for showcasing pieces that are considered to be the next innovative art embraced by the world.
